Rust prevention of wire rope slings

Wire rope slings are processed from steel wire ropes and are mainly used for lifting, traction, tensioning and load rope slings called ropes. Light steel wire rope has the characteristics of high strength, weight, flatness, not easy to suddenly complete and break, and is widely used in steel, chemical, transportation and port industries. The varieties of wire rope used are phosphate coated wire rope, galvanized wire rope, stainless steel wire rope and smooth wire rope.

In the workplace, such as galvanized steel wire rope wet or outdoor environment, steel wire rope can be used as a raw material for improving rust resistance.

The wear of the wire rope sling steel is largely due to the bypass hook and the metal fatigue caused by the crane during repeated bending is gradually broken, except that the ratio of the hook or suspension to the wire rope diameter is an important factor in determining the life of the wire rope sling.

The worn and corroded surface layer of the wire rope or the number of broken wires per screw within the rope exceeding the specified value shall be discarded.

The steel wire rope is mainly used for lifting, pulling and other high-strength wires that need to be transported. It is strictly prohibited to use it under the crane frame or on the rear object during use.
